About Adam

Adam P’Sim­er (b. 2002) is a Georgian-born composer whose music explores themes of Americanism and existentialism, often reflecting the human mind, inner emotion, and the natural world.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Texas College of Music, where he studied composition under Dr. Sungji Hong, Dr. Kirsten Soriano, Dr. Panayiotis Kokoras, Dr. Andrew May, and film composer Bruce Broughton.

His works have been performed and read by ensembles including the UNT Symphony Orchestra and the UNT Wind Ensemble.

Adam writes primarily for orchestra, wind ensemble, chamber ensembles, and solo piano, and has recently composed the electronic score for the horror-thriller film Blood.
